Sales Administrator

Northern Diver (International) Ltd have been in business for over 40 years, we have created an innovative and highly regarded product range within the recreational, Commercial, Offshore, Water Rescue and Military diving sectors. We have won a large contract and as such we need to expand our manufacturing facility in Appley Bridge We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our growing team. We specialise in high quality Diving Equipment and Suits. The ideal candidate will have both the experience and enthusiasm to work with us. No experience necessary in diving and rescue equipment as full training will be given. The position is available for immediate start to the right candidate. > Basic salary: £24 - £30K per annum (Dependant on experience)
> Career progression opportunities
> Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm + 1 in 5 Saturdays, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
> Holidays: 23 days plus Bank Holidays
Key Responsibilities:
> Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, delivering prompt and efficient assistance to address questions and resolve issues.
> Provide support to customers through various channels including online in-store, email, and phone.
> Schedule and manage repair bookings, collaborating with engineering and testing departments.
> Use computer software for stock management, sales processing, and customer relationship management, maintaining accurate records and data.
> Quickly acquire and apply new skills and knowledge related to our products and services to better assist customers.
> Work independently and collaboratively with the sales team and other departments to achieve company goals and improve service delivery.
> Confidently and accurately measure customers for drysuits, including handling made-to-measure orders with precision.
Skills & Experience:
> Demonstrated experience in a customer service role with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support.
> Familiarity with accounting software and computerised order processing is highly desirable.
> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
> Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel is essential.
> Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
> Ability to rapidly acquire new skills and knowledge related to products and services.
> Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, contributing to overall company objectives.
> Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
> Proactive, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
> Confident and professional telephone manner, ensuring clear and courteous communication.
> Must possess a full UK driving license.
