Description
The Divemaster Sport drysuit is the first choice of active sport divers and supplied to commercial diving schools across the world. Manufactured from a specially formulated 5mm hyper-compressed neoprene, the Divemaster allows freedom of movement and real diving flexibility, as well as being exceptionally hard-wearing. Durability is increased by the heavy-duty piqué nylon outer shell. Hyper-compressed is not just a name to increase product appeal. This is a full commercial process, requiring the use of a 500 ton heated press. Although this may sound excessive, this is a necessary process to achieve the highest possible standards in neoprene manufacturing.
The Divemaster Sport can be used in conjunction with any undersuit in our range, for example the Thermalux in mild European waters or Metalux for more extreme diving conditions.
Our unique Ti-Ax® Thermacote® heat reflecting system is under the inner lining inside the drysuit. With a host of premium features as standard, this drysuit really is a leader in reliability. It gives the wearer a comfortable environment when diving and can be pitted against the harshest of diving scenarios, such as ice diving and long duration cold water diving. The Divemaster Sport is available as a perfectly fitting made-to-measure suit, but with standard off-the-peg sizes, most divers will be able to make an instant splash.
All Northern Diver stock suits are fitted with standard sizes of seals and footwear (this is detailed in our size chart). We can make alterations to the drysuit if these standard sizes of seals and footwear won't fit you. Any alterations may be chargeable, simply add your measurements to the additional comments when going through the check out process. Great service from these guys, especially Maddie who was so helpful with everything. I purchased a Divemaster drysuit off the peg and they made minor adjustments for no extra charge. Rare to get great service like this nowadays. Nice suit comfortable and flexible.

Warmest I've ever been in cold water PERFECT!
By Andy Clark on Dec 18, 2020
Moving more into technical diving my kit needs to perform well in and out of the water. That means my dry suit needs to be a good fit, water tight, comfortable and have all the necessary features to allow me to function for up to 3 hours underwater. The DIVEMASTER SPORT certainly ticks all of those boxes. Fitted with a Halcyon tinkle valve and Northern Divers new V4 dry glove system I am warm and comfortable in cold water just like I am during the warmer months. Added to this the Electracore vest for those extra cold starts or photography work I am a super happy and comfortable all year round now!!!!
great suit and looks great too

i bought this suit a few months ago and i wanted to see how it preformed before i left a review. After deciding on the suit i contacted nothern diver by email with a few querys. a very helpful and quick reply came from cara at n.d.and as it took me a couple of weeks to make up my mind and a few more questions, cara was extremely helpfull. most of my diving is off the south west coast of ireland and water tempature varies abit, but between 9 to about16 degrees c.is about right as this was my first neoprene drysuit i wasnt sure what to expect. my first dive,i strapped on a couple extra kg,i wore a wolly bear underneath.water temp was 14 and i was too warm! these are very warm suits so you dont need too much insulation inside. being neoprene, they are boyant so i used an extra 2kg. the size chart is pretty accurate for a good fit. the boots are wide.im a size9 and my xl scubapro jetfins were too small. i bought a set of xxxl n.d.fins which are perfect nothern diver sell a very good jet fin at a reasonable price. the fit of the suit is good.i got a size ML andi am very happy with the fit. the neoprene seals are very comfertable and fit great ,my wrists are thin enough and there were no leaks. overall im very happy with the suit and im very happy with the communication and service from nothern diver. i would definitely reccomend nother diver and look forward to doing buisness with them again.
Wonderful Drysuit, Wonderful Staff, Wonderful Service!
By Jill Tapp on Nov 28, 2019
I have been a customer of Northern Diver for the last 2 years, first going as a very new diver. I have found all the staff, from the front desk to the " behind the scenes" staff to be really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. In fact they are so good they managed to specially adapt a pair of boots for my smaller than average feet! The advice I have received has always been excellent and certainly not price driven. I have just collected my dry suit following testing and repairs, the service was excellent and everything explained before being done, and all for very good price. There is only one thing wrong with Northern Diver, their prices are so good I am always tempted to buy more kit when I am there!???? Thank you to Craig and the team!

I've been using the Divemaster Drysuit for nearly 2 years now and done approximately 70 dives in it ranging from Scottish sea lochs in the middle of winter to boat dives off of Ribs and hard boats in pretty ropey conditions and it has never once let me down! I've had my fair share of "drysuits" and can honestly say this is the only one that's lived up to its name. I think one of the big reasons for this is because of the service Northern Diver provide to ensure you get a fit that really does... well fit! The suit itself is comfortable and flexible enough that reaching down to pick up kit on a rolling boat isn't and issue, however is still tough and hard wearing enough to withstand a scrambling over rocks to get down onto dive sites. The wrist and neck seals again are flexible and soft enough to make getting them on easy enough, yet at the same time don't feel flimsy and liable to rip at the slightest of pull as with some suits. In the water it's absolutely spot on and couldn't talk highly enough of it. I was a bit unsure of the low profile exhaust on the left shoulder having been used to a chunkier one in my old suit. I've spoken to a few people who find the low profile valve difficult to use with gloves on, and thought I'd have similar issues but i really havent and found to to be dead easy to use and it feels far more robust than others I've used. The suit has two pockets which is brilliant. My only gripe is that only one of them is a zip pocket and the other a velcro one which is difficult to get in and out of with gloves on. This is personally the only change I'd make to the suit and make it two zip pockets. The zip one is really useful for storing my spare torch and compass (at the same time) when I don't need them. On top of that, inside the pocket is a wee d ring to hook anything in there onto just in case you forget to zip it... I'll be honest, this d ring has saved me from a very angry wife when I borrowed her torch for a dive as my spare and forgot to close the zip and found myself dragging her torch around. Thankfully it was just explaining why it was dirty rather than why I hadn't brought it home! I was also a bit sceptical about getting built in boots, but again like the exhaust valve I was proven wrong. I'd always had socks on my suits with separate rock boots but the ones on the suit are superb, really tough and sturdy and it means it's one less then to pack in the morning. I love shiny new toys and like to change my kit quite a bit, but the Divemaster is a phenomenal suit and to be quite honest I wouldn't wear anything else now.
Delighted with the service and the suit.

I bought this suit at the start of the Winter and I am delighted with it. Not as stylish as some but very warm, comfortable and much more flexible than my Bare Dry suit. The service I received at the store was excellent.
